These photos are from our 2006 display which had a tropical theme and was choreographed to music.  Featured were the Christmas Parrot, Santa and Rudolph paddling an outrigger canoe, palm trees, and a lighted pier complete with dock lights, flamingos, and waves rolling in to the shore.  The music included songs by Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, and several Hawaiian and steel drum artists.  We have decided to always have at least a small element of the tropics in our display, so look for a flamingo, parrot, or other tropical figure to appear each year!
